What’s Happening at the Haunted Farm (Haunted Farm 2006)
Welcome to our Haunted Farm™! After the harvest at Sundown Farm™, "the smallest farm in Tennessee", my husband and I love to enjoy Autumn’s treasures. Fall is our favorite season and this year we’re celebrating our 15th Fall together. Fall is our special time of the year. In the Fall, we marvel at the splendid leaves adorned in their colorful dresses, savor Southern delights like pecan pie and cheer the VOLS (SEC Football) on to victory.
Fall is the time to wrap a cozy wool sweater around your shoulders, cozy up to a campfire and listen to a good story. It’s the time to share memories of past harvest seasons with friends and family. And best of all, Fall brings Halloween – a night when we can all be kids again. As Halloween approaches, we invite you to join us at the Haunted Farm for a bash with the ghosts, goblins, freaks and frights. Posted here are pictures from last year’s Fright Night.
Like what you see? Have an idea for a harvest craft or an interesting Halloween decoration? Send me an email and I’ll send you some ideas and other neat stuff in return. Want to see more? Take a trip to Sundown Country™ for a closer look.
May you and yours enjoy the whirlwinds of Autumn! Likewise, have a HarmoniousLife!

Spooky Silhouettes Project:
I sure appreciate creating my own unique craft projects and also looking at other people's ideas and then adding my own style to them. For my most recent project, I took on the task of cutting out some silhouettes. I have done this many times before, but I decided to take on the challenge of improving on some designs I seen somewhere.
Let me tell you...you must have patience and a steady hand on the jigsaw to make these cuts. Very time consuming, but I did this on one of the most beautiful weekends so far this October. It was fun for all and I even let my family (Bill, "Marty", and "Major") help at times too!
I also appreciate the encouragement from all the kids in the neighborhood. These additions along with others will add a wonderful "spell" on this year's Haunted Farm activities.
