Halloween Thanks

My family and I, along with so many families in Farragut, want to thank Margaret and Bill Johns for opening their home and “Haunted Farm” for this past Halloween.

The Johns’ have captured the spirit of autumn and Halloween that I remember so fondly as a child growing up here in America. The Johns’ went over the top on the decorations and pumpkins.

Walt Disney would be impressed with the homemade Halloween crafts, flying ghosts, graveyard, dancing skeletons, scarecrows and silhouettes. We have participated in several of the community’s fall functions over the years and they do not compare.

Likewise, the “Haunted Farm Bash” on the Saturday before Halloween was quite incredible.
My children are still talking about the party and all the “pirates, cowboys, heroes, villains and other creatures” they met.

We can’t wait to see some of the pictures on the ”Haunted Farm” Web site.

Thank you again for ensuring that the spirit of fall and Halloween remain fun for all ages.
